1) Booking, Deposits & Payments

Deposit to reserve: A $50 deposit reserves design time and an appointment. Deposits apply to your tattoo total on session day.

Reschedules/Cancellations: With 72+ hours’ notice, deposits are transferable one time to a new date within a reasonable window.

Inside 72 hours or for no-shows/late cancellations, the deposit is forfeited (studio time is held exclusively for you).

Balance due: Remaining balance is due the day of service. Final pricing may change based on size, placement, detail, and time. Major cards and cash accepted.

Multi-session work: Large pieces may require additional deposits for future sessions.

Chargebacks: Please contact the studio to resolve any issues before initiating a card dispute.

2) Custom Design, Revisions & IP

Original work: Designs are custom. The artist retains copyright to all artwork; you receive the right to wear the tattoo. No exact copies of other artists’ work.

Preview & revisions: You’ll see and approve a design/stencil before tattooing. Includes minor tweaks (e.g., small adjustments to sizing/line work). Extra rounds or major changes may incur fees.

Spellings & placement: You are responsible for verifying names, dates, symbols, and placement before we begin.

3) Eligibility, Health & Consent (Florida)

Age: Service is for 18+ only with valid government ID. No minors.

Medical disclosure: Inform the artist of conditions like blood disorders, heart conditions, diabetes, keloid scarring, epilepsy, immune issues, pregnancy/breastfeeding, allergies (ink/metals/latex), and any medications (e.g., blood thinners).

Right to refuse: Service may be declined if you are intoxicated, sunburned on the area, ill, or otherwise not a safe candidate on the day.

4) Safety, Hygiene & Aftercare

Sterile setup: Single-use needles and hospital-grade sanitation are standard.

Aftercare: Written aftercare is provided. Results depend on your aftercare, skin, lifestyle, and environment. Contact a medical professional if you suspect infection or adverse reaction.

5) Session Day Policies

Punctuality: Please arrive on time. Significant lateness may shorten or forfeit the session and deposit.

Attire: Wear clothing that provides easy access to the placement area and protects your privacy.

Guests: Limit guests to keep the environment calm and hygienic; no minors or animals in the procedure area.

Conduct: Abusive or unsafe behavior results in refusal of service and forfeiture of deposit.

6) Touch-Up Policy

Included: A complimentary minor touch-up may be provided after healing within a reasonable window at the artist’s discretion.

Exclusions: Touch-ups due to neglect (e.g., picking, tanning, swimming/sauna during heal), heavy sun exposure, or high-wear locations may incur a fee. Fine-line micro-details and high-movement areas (fingers, feet, inner lip, etc.) can fade faster and may not be fully guaranteed.

7) Photos, Video & Social

Portfolio use: With your consent, healed and in-progress photos/video may be used for portfolio, web, and social media.

Privacy: You may opt out by notifying the studio before your session.

8) Pricing, Refunds & Gifts

Estimates: Quotes are good-faith estimates and can change with scope.

No refunds on services/deposits: Due to the custom nature and time reserved, deposits and rendered services are non-refundable, except where required by law.

Gift certificates: Treated as cash; not replaceable if lost or stolen; subject to applicable Florida law.

9) Accessibility & Accommodation

If you need assistance or accommodation (mobility, sensory, or scheduling), contact the studio in advance. We’ll make reasonable efforts to help.

10) Communications & Privacy

Contact: By providing your phone/email, you consent to being contacted for scheduling, confirmations, and updates (standard SMS/data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out of texts).

Payments: Card data is processed by a PCI-compliant provider; full card numbers are not stored by the studio.

11) Risk Acknowledgment & Liability Release

You acknowledge that tattooing involves permanent skin changes, pain, bleeding, swelling, scarring, ink migration, allergic reactions, and infection risk. By proceeding, you voluntarily assume all risks and release the artist and Painted Bear Enterprises LLC from liability for outcomes and complications beyond their control, except in cases of gross negligence or where prohibited by Florida law.

12) Disputes, Governing Law & Venue (Florida)

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. You agree to first attempt good-faith resolution directly with the studio. If unresolved, claims may be brought in an appropriate court in Florida or resolved by binding arbitration in Florida, as permitted by law. If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect. Terms may be updated; the version in effect at booking applies unless otherwise agreed in writing.
